New to Claude Cowork plugins? Start here.
No code, no jargon. Five steps to your first time-saving plugin.
What is Claude Cowork?
Claude Cowork is the side of Claude designed for non-technical daily work — marketers, salespeople, consultants, agency owners, operations. No terminal, no API keys. You chat with Claude and it gets stuff done.
What are plugins?
Think of plugins like apps on your phone — but for Claude. Each one adds new capabilities (like “prep for a sales call”) and optionally connects Claude to tools you already use (Notion, Slack, Drive, HubSpot).
The five-step setup
- 1
Open Claude Cowork
Log in to claude.ai and switch to the Cowork experience. Cowork is Claude designed for daily business work — marketing, sales, legal, ops — without any coding.
- 2
Find the Plugins section
From the sidebar or settings, open Plugins. You'll see a list of installable packages organised by category.
- 3
Browse this directory
Come back here to research plugins before installing. We show plain-English descriptions, difficulty tags, and real use cases for each one.
- 4
Install and connect
Click Install inside Cowork. If a plugin needs a connector (e.g. Notion), you'll be prompted to sign in to that tool once.
- 5
Run your first slash command
Start a new chat, type '/' and pick a command from the plugin. The plugin does the heavy lifting — you just answer the questions Claude asks.
