Operations plugins for a weekly review in Claude

Anthropic's official Operations plugin ships 9 skills. Which ones map to a weekly ops review, verified from the public repo - not run.

By Arun BabuBeginner

A weekly ops review is four jobs: report status, check process, watch risk, track vendors. Anthropic's official Operations plugin ships 9 skills that map almost one-to-one. Verified from the public repository (October 2026); not run, so treat this as a map.

The plugin's 9 skills

  • status-report - the core of the weekly review: turn the week's notes into the update people actually read.
  • process-doc - write down the SOP while it is fresh, not after the person who knew it leaves.
  • process-optimization - look at an existing process for the step that wastes the hour.
  • risk-assessment - the standing "what could bite us" pass before it becomes an incident.
  • compliance-tracking - keep the obligations list current across regions and teams.
  • capacity-plan - next week's load against the people you actually have.
  • change-request - structure the "can we change X" conversation instead of a chat thread.
  • vendor-review - the periodic is-this-vendor-still-worth-it check.
  • runbook - the document for the thing that breaks at the worst time.

A sensible weekly pairing

Friday: status-report for the week that was, capacity-plan for the one coming. Monthly, rotate in vendor-review and risk-assessment so they happen on a schedule instead of after a surprise. The plugin's connectors can pull source material from your existing tools - each one asks for its own sign-in on first use.

The plugin is in Anthropic's official marketplace; adding that marketplace is one step in add a GitHub marketplace. More role shortlists: plugins for consultants.
