Claude plugins for consultants: a shortlist by task

Which official Claude plugins map to consulting work - research, deliverables, contracts, status. Verified from Anthropic's repo.

By Arun BabuBeginner

Consulting work splits into research, synthesis, deliverables and admin. Anthropic's official plugin repo covers all four. Every skill list below is verified from the public repository (October 2026); we have not run these plugins, so treat this as a map, not a review.

Research and synthesis

  • Enterprise Search - finds material across your company's tools and docs. The discovery-phase plugin: fifteen stakeholder interviews and a shared drive become searchable in one place.
  • Data - query, visualize and interpret datasets. For the survey results and usage exports clients hand you.

Deliverables

  • Productivity - ships five skills: task-management, memory-management, start, update and a dashboard. The update skill is the weekly status note; memory-management keeps project context between sessions, which is the consultant's recurring-setup problem.
  • Marketing - 8 skills including content-creation and draft-content, useful when the deliverable is a narrative document rather than an analysis.

Contracts and risk

  • Legal - 9 skills: review-contract, triage-nda, vendor-check, legal-risk-assessment, compliance-check and more. For reviewing the MSA before you sign it and the SOW before you send it. (Use it to prepare, not as the final legal verdict.)

Admin and client management

  • Sales - 10 skills including account-research, call-prep and call-summary. Written for sales teams, but call-prep and call-summary are exactly the consultant's meeting rhythm.
  • Operations - 9 skills including status-report, process-doc and vendor-review, for the ops-side of running the practice itself.

How to install

All of these live in Anthropic's official marketplace repo - adding it takes one step, covered in add a GitHub marketplace. For what official vs community means for trust, see official vs community plugins.
