The Marketing plugin's path to a campaign brief

Anthropic's official Marketing plugin ships 8 skills. How they chain into a campaign brief, verified from the public repo - contents, not a run.

By Arun BabuBeginner

A campaign brief is research in, plan out. Anthropic's official Marketing plugin ships 8 skills that cover the whole path. Verified from the public repository (October 2026); we have not run them, so this is the map of what exists, not a test.

The 8 skills, in brief order

  1. competitive-brief - the research step: what competitors are doing, condensed.
  2. campaign-plan - the brief itself: audience, message, channels, timing.
  3. content-creation and draft-content - the assets the brief calls for.
  4. brand-review - check drafts against your brand before anything ships.
  5. email-sequence - the email arm of the campaign.
  6. seo-audit - the search check on the content.
  7. performance-report - after launch, the numbers into a readable report.

The connectors behind it

The plugin also wires up connectors for the tools marketing teams already use - Slack, Canva, Figma, HubSpot and Amplitude among them - so research and drafts can pull from and publish to the real stack. Each connector asks for its own sign-in on first use.

The honest way to start

Start at competitive-brief or campaign-plan with a product you know well, and judge the output against what you know. A brief you can verify teaches you more than a polished output on an unfamiliar topic. The plugin is in Anthropic's official marketplace - install steps in add a GitHub marketplace - and the starter shortlist shows what the other roles get.
