About this plugin
The Legal plugin gives Claude Cowork the ability to read, review, and summarise legal documents. Point it at a contract and it will flag unusual clauses, highlight key dates and obligations, and produce a plain-English summary — so your team can move faster without missing something important. Always confirm final decisions with a qualified lawyer.

How to install the Legal plugin
Claude Cowork plugins are available to all paid plan users — Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise.

Open Claude Desktop
Download Claude Desktop from claude.ai/download if you haven't already — it's free to download, but you'll need a paid plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) to access Claude Cowork.

Open Customize > Plugins
Go to Customize, then Plugins, in claude.ai or the Claude desktop app. The plugin is saved to your account, so it is also available in Cowork and Claude Code.

Find "Legal" in Discover and select Add
Open Discover, find "Legal", read what it contains, then select Add. Plugins from a marketplace you add yourself (Add > Add marketplace) are not reviewed by Anthropic.

Connect any bundled connectors
Adding a plugin does not sign you in to anything. Open the plugin's Connectors tab to add or connect each connector it includes.

Use it
