About this plugin
The Data plugin lets you ask Claude Cowork questions about your data and get real answers — not queries you have to run yourself. Connect it to your databases or upload CSV and Excel files, then ask questions like 'what were our top 10 customers last quarter?' or 'show me churn by cohort'. Claude runs the analysis and explains the results clearly.

How to install the Data plugin
Claude Cowork plugins are available to all paid plan users — Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise.

Open Claude Desktop
Download Claude Desktop from claude.ai/download if you haven't already — it's free to download, but you'll need a paid plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) to access Claude Cowork.

Open Customize > Plugins
Go to Customize, then Plugins, in claude.ai or the Claude desktop app. The plugin is saved to your account, so it is also available in Cowork and Claude Code.

Find "Data" in Discover and select Add
Open Discover, find "Data", read what it contains, then select Add. Plugins from a marketplace you add yourself (Add > Add marketplace) are not reviewed by Anthropic.

Connect any bundled connectors
Adding a plugin does not sign you in to anything. Open the plugin's Connectors tab to add or connect each connector it includes.

Use it
In Cowork, type /plugin-name:command, or describe the task and Claude loads the matching skill. Source: Anthropic's Plugins documentation.
